Learning from Indonesia’s Tycoons
Tempo makes a long report about the universities established by tycoons. It is based on the consideration that tycoons have had clear business and market visions. Therefore, the educational institutes they set up are not far from their business visions, which are certainly combined with non-commercial missions. Yes, these universities generously offer scholarships especially to bright, disadvantaged ones. This is part of the tycoons’ and their business colleagues’ corporate social responsibility program.
