The second round of the presidential election is heating up. The Defense Team for Indonesian Democracy (TPDI) has asked the police to investigate the attack on the Indonesian Democratic Party's office in Jalan Diponegoro on July 27, 1996. The TPDI requested the status of four generals—Faisal Tanjung, Syarwan Hamid, Dibyo Widodo, and presidential candidate from the Democrat Party, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono—to be changed from witnesses to suspects.
