Democracy At Work Joko Widodo and Jusuf Kalla offi cially become president and vice president respectively, for the next fi ve-year term. They won the presidential election, thanks to the massive support of thousands of volunteers. But the task ahead for the nation’s new leaders will not be easy. They inherit the myriad problems from the previous administration and they will, most likely, face a hostile parliament dominated by the coalition of parties which supported the also-ran, Prabowo Subianto.
