National Uncovering The Mastermind Behind The November 4 Protests;
THE November 4 mass protests raised an intriguing question. Who did President Joko Widodo mean when he said that certain parties piggy-backed on the demonstrations that ended in rioting and violence? The Democrats—the only party to do so—claims intelligence on their involvement is untrue.
Outreach: Women And Equal Rights In Fisheries
THE fishing industry plays a vital role in achieving the goal of food security in Indonesia. But 3.9 million women working in this sector are yet to be recognized by the state. As a consequence, they don’t get the same rights as fishermen. In October, the two were named Female Food Heroes by Oxfam.
