NOT everyone of Chinese descent is like Paul Jauri, born Jao Tjoe Ing in Makassar, 66 years ago. He is of a third generation no longer born in mainland China. As a businessman in the mining and agrobusiness fields, he often returns to the Bamboo Curtain Country. "But I can't stand staying there long. What for? The climate is not to my liking, the food too," says the graduate of Hasanuddin University.
