Rawagede was a killing fi eld, 64 years ago. On that day, December 9, 1947, Dutch soldiers acted in a blind rage. Angry soldiers surrounded the village and massacred hundreds of men. One thing that triggered the brutal act was what was being done by Captain Lucas Kustario. The Dutch army was sick and tired of the attacks made by troops led by that fearless captain.
