Yet another client of Bank Mega has lost its deposits, this time at the Cikarang, Bekasi branch. About Rp80 billion belonging to the account of the Batu Baru district government was found to have vanished. This incident comes in the wake of PT Elnusa’s recent loss of deposits in Bank Mega. Authorities point to bank embezzlers allegedly led by Richard Latief, whose network covers bank account holders, bank officials and businesspeople.
