THE Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) failed again to summon Nunun Nurbaetie. Nunun, suspected of being the person who gave out traveler’s checks as bribes to legislators during the House of Representatives’ 1999-2004 term, continues to ignore the summonses by citing ill health. Golkar and PDI-P politicians whose members are among those indicted in the case are beginning to suspect that the KPK could be playing favorites. Will the KPK arrest Nunun and expose the true mastermind of the bribery scheme?
