GAYUS Halomoan Tambunan suddenly became a household name. This tax official is reportedly involved in case-brokering practices within the National Police Headquarters. In fact, former chief detective Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji mentioned a number of high-ranking police officers who were in cahoots with Gayus. Susno accuses them of being involved in the disbursement of bank accounts holding Rp25 billion belonging to Gayus. It is suspected that the money came from corruption.
