THE KPK is on the offensive. Quietly but resolutely, the anti-graft commission is forging ahead with its investigation of the Police Traffi c Division’s questionable procurement of driving simulators which cost a whopping Rp196.87 billion. Its former chief, Inspector- General Djoko Susilo and currently governor of the Police Academy, has been indicted, raising the hackles of senior police offi cers and pitting them against the KPK.
