The House of Representatives (DPR) is in a fuel-fired frenzy over the price of oil. The chaotic plenary session at the DPR last week became the country\'s favorite TV show. People watched it with a range of feelings. Some were angry because they had not suspected that DPR members were capable of such pushing and shoving. Some were ashamed. But more than a few laughed to see the most stupid performance in the history of the Indonesian legislature, because they remembered the words of Abdurrahman Wahid, who when he became president called the DPR a "kindergarten." But we all agree that last week\'s session is something that must not be repeated.
