The confession of Agus Condro, an Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle politician, exposes another of the central bank’s bribes of Senayan politicians: a bribe given in connection with the election of the BI Senior Deputy Governor in 2004. Agus claims to have received Rp500 million from Miranda Goeltom, one of the candidates for the post. Miranda still holds the position.
