SUSILO Bambang Yudhoyono has teamed up with Boediono as his presidential running mate. Some are happy with the incumbent’s choice while others are disappointed. Several political parties have threatened to leave the coalition with the Democrat Party. Boediono—currently the central bank governor—was dubbed a potential vice-presidential candidate as a result of his frequent visits to Cikeas after it became clear that the Democrat Party had won the legislative elections.
