Konfrontasi   A NUMBER of senior offi cers at National Police Headquarters plan to retaliate against the leaders of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for successfully blocking the appointment of Comr. Gen. Budi Gunawan as the new police chief. KPK Chairman Abraham Samad was politically smeared in public while his deputy Bambang Widjojanto was arrested for an old crime. This may be the sequel to the very unsettling ‘lizard versus crocodile’ dispute, pitting the police against the graft busters.
