Behind Setya's Suspect Status The Corruption Eradication Commission finally named House of Representatives Speaker Setya Novanto as a suspect in the electronic ID card mega corruption scandal. Before being a suspect,  he demanded a warranty from the government to be excluded from the case. Within his Golkar Party there are efforts to remove Setya from his position as party chairman. His closeness with the government is on the verge of collapse.
