Bully Politics   AS the day approaches when Joko Widodo takes over the reins of power, events in the DPR/MPR could spell diffi cult times ahead for the new president. The opposition parties now control key positions in the legislature, which does not augur well for the new government’s programs. Jokowi’s hope for a friendly and supportive DPR lies in the ever-changing party ‘loyalties’ which can at any time alter the political configuration in the next fi ve years. Meanwhile, the gnashing and growling between the supporters continues, the latest contentious issue being the October 20 presidential inauguration.
